STEP #1: ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

    • The Easton Sports Development Foundation will only make grants to IRS Qualified 501(c)(3) organizations or government entities (including schools)

    • For youth groups or school clubs under a 501(c)(3) entity: This grant is only available to groups/clubs being backed by a 501(c)(3) qualified organization. We must receive a letter of support from your educational institution (School or other educational entity or non-profit). This letter must endorse the group/club desire to apply for funding and agree to the grant application conditions.

    • Agree to the Big Idea Grant Rules, Requirements, and Agreement.

  • Please be advised that our Board of Directors meets twice a year. As such, all Big Idea entries/applications will be reviewed during those meetings. Due to this meeting schedule, there may be a significant delay between the submission of your entry/application and the communication of our decision.

    Applicants who submit their Big Idea before the Spring Deadline - February 1st will receive a determination following the Fall Board of Directors’ meeting.

    Applicants who submit their Big Idea before the Fall Deadline - August 1st will receive a determination following the Spring Board of Directors’ meeting.

  • If your Big Idea is selected for further review, you will be contacted to complete and sign a grant application in accordance with the Big Idea Grant Rules, Requirements, and Agreement.

STEP #2: YOUR IDEA MUST ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING

  • The big idea should be original and not a repetition of existing projects or ideas. It should bring a fresh perspective or approach to addressing a challenge within the sport of archery.

  • The idea should be practical and attainable within the proposed timeline and budget. The applicant should demonstrate that they have the necessary skills, resources, and expertise to carry out the project.

  • The idea should have the potential to make a significant positive impact. This could be measured in terms of the number of people benefiting, the extent of change brought about, or the potential for long-term sustainable change.

  • The budget should be realistic and justifiable. All costs should be accounted for and there should be a clear plan for how funds will be used.

  • There should be a clear plan for how the success of the project will be measured. This could include both quantitative measures (e.g., number of people served) and qualitative measures (e.g., testimonials, case studies).

  • The project should have a plan for sustainability beyond the term of this grant. This may involve creating additional partnerships, collaborating with others, or engaging the community.
