How do I know if my organization is eligible to apply for a grant?
You must be a public 501(c)3 organization, a non-profit foundation, educational or government entity.

When do I need to submit my application?
Requests over $25,000: All project proposals and grant requests over $25,000 must be received by the Foundation by March 1st for the Spring review or September 1 for the Fall review to be considered by the Foundation in the semi-annual grant review process.

Summer Programs:  Requests to support Summer programming must be submitted by February 1st.

Fall Programs: Requests to support Fall programming must be submitted by April 1st.

Can I submit an electronic copy of the grant application? 

We only accept electronic copies of the application. We do require that a signed & dated copy of the application be submitted electronically.

Can foreign nonprofit organizations qualify to apply for a grant?
No.

Will any original documentation submitted with the grant application be returned?
No. We keep all documentation (news articles, photographs, etc.) submitted with the application.
